David Flint is a distinguished business analyst. Part entrepreneur, sage, mentor, and business consultant, David teaches at Texas A&M University.
David wrote his first business book. He intended to move from the classroom/board room out into the public sphere. As a personality based brand, he was starting from zero. He needed media for his website, design elements for the manuscript, and a personal brand guide. This was an easy assignment in that David is a wonderful/knowledgeable gentleman and he is EXACTLY the sort of brand that people would embrace if we showed him well.
David’s authenticity and charm should pair with his brilliance and business wisdom. We planned to couple the “old world master craftsman” with the “innovative architect” (his business book thesis). Photography, video, brand style guide, book cover art, etc. must all convey these same virtues.
Concept / Process:
We captured David in his natural surroundings — business development space (warehouse), a personal conversation over a pint (local pub), presenting on stage, and walking around his pond during his usual morning routine. We also quickly understood that a “deep, beautiful plum color” meant something to David and we wanted to incorporate that into his branding.
David is launching the personal brand and book in the next 9 months — we were humbled to work with David, and he was kind enough to provide the follow quote as he reflected on his time working with Fidelis:
