Problem / Scope:
TEES (Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station) hosts a large turbo lab conference each year on their campus. The conference needed brand-consistent signage, banners, table toppers, name tags, mic flags, presentation files, etc. and we felt we could give a fresh perspective to their community of distinguished and technically excellent organization. The look had to be high tech, incorporate maroon for the university, and communicate with clean design.
We keyed in on turbo engine blades, looked through design magazines and images, and finally landed on an image we could use across the branded materials. We used graphic and text overlays to hit the message points and handed the files off to the printer who built the product.
The clients and conference goers were pleased with what we delivered and we are already thinking through next year’s design. Our graphic designers are always playing with multiple looks and they often find their favorites to explore even when a project is wrapped!
