Our Contribution: Design/ Photography
Blue House Joys came to us to create “something for our website, maybe just a catalogue image.” We quickly saw the magic in this local company —Blue House Joys makes imagination. Sure, they use interesting fabrics and patterns to create lovely play spaces, but they really set a stage for children to explore their own creativity: small tents for kids to play in their rooms, wall-mounted slings for books, lounging pillows and other like items. They had web space to fill and product to display.
We had a great conversation wherein we discovered the imaginative heartbeat of this young but growing company. After some thought, we realized we had to be playful in expressing the potential of imaginative spaces: these simple elements were made to pull out imagination in the home. This is the terrain of creative animation. We knew “the guy” for that — Brady Black.
The Concept / Process:
We had to show, in one image, both the tangible items for sale, and the intangible life of imagination. We had the idea to connect a wonderful artist duo, Serious Creatures, with BHJ and a series of our images. With quality of the textiles at the core of product page, well-lit images, and the amazing creativity of Serious Creatures, we were able to create a small series for BHJ to use on their website and in social media.
Testimonial / The Results:
“We had vague concepts floating back and forth in our heads, but knew that we wouldn’t touch the level of quality we wanted without finding a creative partner that’s proven. Fidelis was our first and only phone call and honestly, we had no thoughts towards a plan B. Having seen the quality of work that Tim and his team have produced, we knew Fidelis was going to eliminate the risk and uncertainty for getting the results we wanted. After one sit down brainstorm, the concept came together and the end result was far beyond what we had anticipated going into it.” — Teri
